Ownership and Responsibility: Alcohol products purchased from Sherbrooke Liquor are sold in Alberta, and ownership title passes to the buyer in Alberta. Sherbrooke Liquor makes no representation regarding the legal rights of purchasers to import alcohol into any province outside of Alberta. It is solely the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure compliance with the applicable laws of the destination. By placing an order, the purchaser acknowledges that they are responsible for all costs (including taxes or tariffs) associated with the shipment or importation of alcoholic products.
Recipient Requirements: All shipments must be received and signed for by an individual of legal drinking age (18 years or older in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec; 19 years or older in all other provinces). Alcohol products cannot be delivered to PO Boxes. The purchaser agrees to provide proof of age upon delivery.
Shipping Rates: All orders placed through Sherbrooke Liquor are shipped using ATS Healthcare Solutions, Canada Post or our local courier. Shipping and handling costs are calculated based on your specific region and the weight of your package(s). These costs will be displayed at checkout prior to order confirmation and payment.
Processing and Delivery Time:
- Orders within the city limits of Edmonton, Alberta will be processed and delivered within 1 to 3 business days.
- Orders outside Edmonton but within Alberta will be processed within 1 to 5 business days and delivered within 5 to 14 business days via ATS Healthcare Solutions or Canada Post. A tracking number will be provided once the order is shipped.
Shipping Conditions: Shipping during extreme weather conditions (winter and summer) poses inherent risks. Sherbrooke Liquor reserves the right to delay shipping if there is a risk of damage due to extreme weather.
Limitation of Liability: Sherbrooke Liquor is not liable for any losses or damages that may occur during transit. Once the package leaves our warehouse, we are no longer responsible for it. Shipping insurance is provided by the third-party carrier and is optional for the customer to purchase. Sherbrooke Liquor makes no warranties or guarantees regarding the quality, safety, or legality of the products once they leave our facility, except as required by law. We are also not liable for delays or failure to fulfill orders due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or regulatory changes.
Damaged or Lost Shipments: We cannot cover losses or damages that occur through third-party couriers. We ensure your order is well-packaged, but liability is limited to the policies of the third-party carriers.
Returns and Exchanges: Sherbrooke Liquor does not accept returns or exchanges unless the item is defective. If you receive a defective item, please contact us at orders@sherbrookeliquor.com with details of the product and the defect. We will provide further instructions if you are entitled to a refund or exchange. Refunds do not include shipping and handling charges, and the purchaser is responsible for return shipping costs.
Incorrect Addresses: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the shipping address is correct. If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address, the customer will be contacted to determine whether to reattempt the shipment (with additional shipping costs) or return the product (subject to a 15% restocking fee).
Prohibited Shipping Areas: Sherbrooke Liquor cannot ship to certain provinces or regions due to legal restrictions. Please check our shipping availability before placing an order.
Customer Acknowledgment: By placing an order, customers acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions, including shipping policies.
Substitution Policy: If a product is out of stock or unavailable at the time of shipping, Sherbrooke Liquor will contact the customer to arrange for a suitable substitute or issue a refund.
