Welcome to another edition of Beer Stuffs where our All Beer Stuffs guide highlights some of the new arrivals this week to help alleviate your selection anxiety. Let’s get right to it:

Grain Bin Brewing Company: My Name Is Mix Pack [4x650ml Bottles]: Hailing from Grande Prairie, Grain Bin Brewing Company has quickly emerged as one of the most sought after craft breweries in the province. Amidst a series of one-offs, seasonal releases, and experimental brews comes this mixed 4-pack of bombers (650ml bottles) which includes their Hefeweizen, Special Bitter, IPA, and Chai Tea Milk Stout. We are one of the only stores in Edmonton to score their product and we couldn’t be happier!

Bridge Brewing Side Cut North East IPA [650ml Bottles]: You’ve read it here first: North East-style IPAs are going to be the IT style this year. Without getting too technical, North East IPAs are less bitter than their West Coast cousins and are packed with super juicy aromatic hops (I think of them as Five Alive juice for adults) and are often noticeably unfiltered and can be extremely opaque and cloudy; so much so that they can look more like juice than beer. This new one from Vancouver’s Bridge is a good intro to the style and was released to Alberta in a very limited batch.
[Also check out: Outcast Make That A Double!, Steamworks Flagship IPA, Deschutes Fresh Squeezed, etc.]

Bridge Brewing The Fuzz Milkshake IPA [650ml Bottles]: Another new one from Vancouver’s Bridge Brewing, The Fuzz has been garnering tons of attention online lately. As the name suggests, this beer is brewed with Lactose and pours a cloudy amber colour with a very thick and creamy mouthfeel. To top it off, addition of fruity hops and peach juice lends the beer its distinctive sorbet/creamsicle-like flavours. A very unique brew that is sure to go quick. As an added bonus, this milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.
[Also check out: Ninkasi Hop Cooler, Russell Punch Bowl, 4 Mile Tangerin Dream, etc.]

Browar Witnica Black Boss Porter [500ml Bottles]: A small regional brewery in the Polish town of Witnica, the apty named Browar Witnica has been brewing beer since 1848. Black Boss Porter is made in the Baltic Porter style which is typically stronger than a classic UK-style Porter and tend to have more complex and hearty flavours. You can expect dark malt notes of molasses, caramel, coffee, cola, and just a hint of dark dried fruits paired with a remarkably smooth finish.
Also check out: Kees Export Porter, Les Trois Mousqetaires Porter Baltique, Nogne O Porter, etc.]

Tree Brewing Anniversary India Red Ale [650ml Bottles]: Once again, this Kelowna-based brewery returns with another fantastic Anniversary brew. This time around, the brewery has combined a blend of 7 different malt varieties and 4 different hops to create an immensely flavourful India Red Ale. As the name suggests, India Red Ales combine the bold malt character of an Amber/Red Ale (note of chocolate, nuts, caramel etc.) with the assertive hop presence of an IPA (citrusy, resinous, bitter).
[Also check out: Shipyard Red IPA, Persephone Hop Yard, Phillips Chucklehead etc.]
